Huaier granules to help prevent colorectal cancer coming back

This study tests whether Huaier granules after surgery can lower the chance that colorectal cancer returns or spreads. It is for people who have recently had “radical” (complete) surgery for certain stages of colorectal cancer and are within about 2 months of that surgery.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 to 75 years old
  • You had complete surgery for colorectal cancer within the last 2 months
  • Your cancer stage is IIB, IIC, or III (based on the study’s staging system)
  • You are able to do normal daily activities (ECOG score 0 to 2)
  • You have no past history of other cancers
  • You have no major health problems like serious heart/brain/lung disease, or uncontrolled severe high blood pressure or diabetes
