Who can take part

  • You had an allogeneic bone marrow transplant and are more than 30 days past it
  • You have confirmed adenovirus (HAdV) infection or reactivation based on test results
  • You either did not improve after at least 14 days of antiviral treatment, or you have ongoing/worsening symptoms while on antivirals, or you cannot take those antivirals due to allergy or side effects
  • Your general function is limited but still manageable (ECOG 0–3, or Karnofsky/Lansky score above the study cutoffs)
  • If you can become pregnant—or if you’re a man who could father a child—you agree to effective birth control during the study and for 3 months after
  • If you are 14 or older, you can understand and sign the consent form (or assent if younger)
