Who can take part
- You must have had an allogeneic stem cell transplant and be more than 30 days past the transplant date
- You must have CMV that is either causing symptoms or showing up on lab tests (reactivation/viremia)
- You must have CMV that fits at least one situation: not improving on antiviral treatment, getting worse symptoms or organ effects on antivirals, cannot use antivirals due to side effects/allergy, or CMV has come back again
- You should be well enough to do daily activities (ECOG 0–3)
- You must be able to sign informed consent (or assent if a minor)
- You (if able to become pregnant) and your partner(s) must use reliable birth control during the study and for 3 months after
