Who can take part

  • Be between 1 and 60 years old when you enroll
  • If you have ichthyosis, your diagnosis must be Netherton syndrome, lamellar ichthyosis, or another ichthyosis type
  • For ichthyosis: avoid anti-inflammatory pills by 1 month before blood/skin sampling
  • For ichthyosis: avoid anti-inflammatory creams by 1 week before sampling
  • For skin sampling: do not apply lotions (emollients) to the exact biopsy spots within 12 hours before the biopsy
