Who can take part

  • You have a Glasgow Coma Scale score of 15, meaning you are fully awake and oriented before surgery
  • You are planned for brain tumor surgery, starting anesthesia within 5 hours of the planned surgery time
  • After surgery, you will be able to wake up (postoperative awakening)
  • You should be in ASA health category I to III (generally healthy to moderately ill)
  • You cannot have severe heart failure symptoms (NYHA class III or IV)
