  • You are scheduled to get full-dose radiation aimed to cure your cancer
  • Your radiation field includes major salivary glands (large spit glands)
  • Your cancer is new and being treated for the first time (not recurrent)
  • You can understand and follow study instructions (no severe memory or thinking problems)
