Who can take part
- Age 18–69 years old
- Squamous cell carcinoma (the most common type) of the mouth, surgically removed with lymph-node dissection
- At least one side of the neck had surgery with 12+ lymph nodes removed
- Pathology shows no cancer spread to lymph nodes (N0 or N1 stage) but has high-risk features like close/positive surgical margins or nerve/vessel involvement
- Able to attend long-term follow-up visits and complete quality-of-life surveys in English or Hindi
- Start radiation therapy (if needed) within 6–8 weeks of surgery
