Who can take part

  • You are 7 years old or older.
  • You can lie still in an MRI machine and follow instructions.
  • You do not have any metal implants or devices that are unsafe for MRI, like certain pacemakers, aneurysm clips, or shrapnel.
  • If you are healthy, you must not have known heart disease.
  • If you have known or suspected heart disease or another condition (like lung or blood disease), you may be eligible.
  • You are willing to have blood tests and pregnancy tests if needed, and to avoid food before some scans.
