This trial looks at a specific way of closing the ovary (suturing) after surgeons remove an endometrioma using laparoscopic stripping. It may help by improving how the ovary heals and preserving ovarian function in the right patients.

Who can take part

  • You have one new (not recurring) endometrioma only on one ovary (not both sides).
  • Your cyst size is between 5 and 10 cm.
  • Your surgery plan is laparoscopic enucleation (removal by stripping) of that cyst.
  • Before enrollment, your hormone/egg reserve test called AFC is in the normal range.
  • You have not had any pelvic surgery before, including non-gynecologic surgery.
  • You have not taken any endometriosis-related medicines or other treatments in the last 3 months.
  • You do not have deep infiltrating endometriosis or other major conditions.
