Who can take part

  • You have stomach adenocarcinoma (a specific stomach cancer type) that the team believes can be removed with surgery.
  • Your cancer has “locally advanced” features (like deeper tumor growth and/or nearby lymph node involvement), but you do not have distant spread (no metastases).
  • You are age 18 to 75 and can do daily activities at a good level (ECOG 0 to 1).
  • Your kidneys and liver tests are within required limits (kidney filtering above 50 mL/min, and certain blood tests not too high).
  • You have not had prior chemotherapy or radiation for this cancer, and you are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You can meet the study schedule and follow-up, and you do not have certain other serious medical or mental health conditions that would interfere with treatment.
