Who can take part
- You have breast cancer confirmed by biopsy, with a known HER2 result (positive or negative).
- You’re able to give written consent to join the study.
- You’re 18 years or older, and your cancer is locally advanced or metastatic (advanced cancer or spread to other organs).
- You have at least one measurable tumor spot that is at least 15 mm and has not had radiation before.
- You can have the PET scan workup (staging scans) within about 6 weeks of starting, and you must be healthy enough for study tests (good blood counts and organ function).
- If you can become pregnant, you must have a negative pregnancy test and use non-hormonal birth control for 3 weeks after the injection.
