- You have pancreas disease that fits one of these: chronic pancreatitis, a first acute attack, or repeated acute attacks
- Your case is not caused by gallstones (so gallstone-related pancreatitis doesn’t count)
- Chronic pancreatitis diagnosis must meet the Mannheim criteria your clinician uses
- Acute pancreatitis episodes must meet the revised Atlanta criteria your clinician uses
- You may be asked to confirm your diagnosis history (how many attacks and when they happened)
