Who can take part
- You had a STEMI heart attack within the last 24 hours or you still have ongoing symptoms
- You are between 18 and 70 years old
- You can sign consent to take part in the study
- You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
- Your kidney function is acceptable (or you are on long-term dialysis)
- Your heart artery and the blockage meet the study’s technical limits (not too small/large, not too long, and vessel preparation after ballooning looks adequate)
