Who can take part

  • You are female and age 18–70
  • Your breast cancer was removed with lumpectomy, with clear (negative) margins
  • Your cancer is invasive breast cancer (not only DCIS), and has no distant spread
  • You have either sentinel node biopsy only or a specific axillary node surgery plan, based on results
  • You can safely receive radiation after surgery (no major radiation contraindications) and can complete follow-up
