Extending lymph node removal during liver tumor surgery

Who can take part

  • You are age 18 to 80.
  • You have confirmed intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma that your scans suggest can be fully removed.
  • Before surgery, scans show no clear lymph node spread, or a lymph node biopsy during surgery is negative.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Turcotte-Pugh score A or B) and you have enough remaining liver (residual liver volume over 30%).
  • You can safely have major liver surgery and you agree to the study (sign informed consent and plan to follow up).
