Who can take part

  • You have a type of bile duct cancer that your doctor thinks can be removed with surgery, or you have a certain type being prepared for a liver transplant.
  • You are over 18 years old.
  • You agree to take part by signing a consent form.
  • You have not had treatment for bile duct cancer before.
  • You have not had a liver cancer treated before.
  • You do not have a bleeding problem that makes it unsafe to have an endoscopic ultrasound with biopsy.
