Who can take part

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have a gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumor that is advanced (spread or too advanced to operate)
  • Show clear tumor growth within the last 3 years while on octreotide (per standard imaging rules)
  • Have recent scan evidence within about 24 weeks: DOTATATE uptake on Ga-68 DOTATATE PET/CT (and/or FDG uptake if the tumor changed to a higher-grade type)
  • Tumor must be well differentiated (Ki-67 under 20%) and show octreotide positivity on pathology or DOTATATE PET/CT
  • Blood test counts and liver function must be in safe ranges (kidney and bilirubin limits, plus minimum hemoglobin, white blood cells, and platelets)
