This Phase 3 study tests whether a targeted radiation treatment approach (using a special “PRRT” scan-guided method) works better to control advanced neuroendocrine tumors. It’s designed for tumors that show strong targeting on a specific PET scan and that are growing despite prior treatment (with some limits).

Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older and able to give written consent.
  • Your performance status is ECOG 0–1 (you are up and about and not severely limited by illness).
  • You have an advanced, inoperable, well-differentiated neuroendocrine tumor that can’t be removed with surgery (not pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma).
  • Your tumor must light up on a 68Ga-DOTA-PET scan (more than baseline liver uptake).
  • Your disease must have clearly grown on a CT/MRI done 1–24 months before enrollment, and you must have measurable tumors on scan.
  • You must not have had PRRT before, and you must have stopped other anti-cancer treatments (except a somatostatin “analogue” like SSA) at least 4 weeks ago.

This trial tests a new type of PET scan using a radioactive tracer called 61Cu-NODAGA-LM3 to detect neuroendocrine tumors (NETs). The goal is to see if it works as well as or better than the standard scan. If you have a NET and need a scan for staging or treatment planning, you might be able to join.

Higher-precision PRRT dosing versus standard dosing for NEN

This Phase 2 study compares a more personalized (precision) radiation dose plan to the standard dose plan using Lu-177-DOTATOC for people with neuroendocrine neoplasms (NEN) that have worsened or caused major symptoms despite usual treatments.
