Who can take part

  • You are a man age 50 or older
  • You have bothersome urine symptoms from an enlarged prostate (BPH)
  • Your prostate is larger than 40 cc on exam
  • Your PSA blood test is mildly high (above 1.5 and up to 40 ng/ml)
  • You are scheduled for a prostate biopsy for elevated PSA
  • No suspicious prostate lump/tenderness/firmness found on exam
