Non-small Cell Lung Cancer

Treatments studied

Part of Cancer, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This Phase 1 study tests pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) given together with a chemotherapy drug to treat non-small cell lung cancer that is locally advanced or has spread. It’s aimed at people who can handle treatment with an ECOG performance status of 2, including some with certain types of brain metastases.

Pembrolizumab plus lung ablation for advanced lung cancer

This trial tests whether combining pembrolizumab (an immune treatment) with a lung ablation procedure can be safer and more effective for advanced non-small cell lung cancer after standard first treatment fails or the cancer comes back. It may help shrink tumors and improve control of the disease.

Pembrolizumab plus chemo for advanced EGFR-mutated lung cancer

This trial tests a combination of pembrolizumab (an immunotherapy) and chemotherapy for people with advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific EGFR mutation (exon 21) and a PD-L1 score of 1% or higher. It aims to see if this combination can help shrink tumors and improve outcomes for those who have not yet received any anticancer treatment.

NCT04324151Recruiting
Pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy for lung cancer that may be removed

This trial tests whether adding pembrolizumab (an immune therapy) to standard chemotherapy helps people with certain non-squamous lung cancers that doctors think might be surgically removed. You might be considered if your planned treatment involves a “double platinum” chemotherapy or crizotinib and your cancer is potentially resectable.
