Testing PET/MRI monitoring for HER2-positive breast cancer before surgery

Who can take part

  • You’re between 18 and 75 years old
  • Your breast cancer is HER2-positive from a tumor test (IHC 3+ or ISH positive); only one positive test is needed
  • Your cancer is stage II–III and you have not started neoadjuvant treatment yet
  • You have at least one measurable tumor spot on imaging that is bigger than 1 cm
  • You can likely stay still on the scan table for about 1 hour and can have MRI safely
  • You can have the specific MRI contrast (ProHance/gadoteridol) and are not pregnant or breastfeeding
