Who can take part
- You must be neurologically and psychiatrically stable—no unstable brain/mental conditions at the screening visit
- You must be able to get brain MRI scans without contrast at the start and again at 5 years
- You must have one of these monitoring needs: certain breast, prostate, liver, colon, or pancreas conditions that are followed with imaging
- If you’re in the contrast (GBCA) group: you need to be likely to receive contrast at least 5 times over 5 years with the same dye
- If you’re in the control group: you must have never had MRI contrast (GBCA) and avoid it during the study
- You must not have exclusions like brain radiation/chemo, major recent mental illness score issues, severe kidney problems, or metal implants that block MRI
