Who can take part

  • You must be an adult (at least 18 for the pancreatic cancer group; at least 40 for the control group).
  • If you’re in the pancreatic cancer group: you have a confirmed pancreatic cancer adenocarcinoma (a specific type of cancer).
  • Samples are taken before surgery or your first chemotherapy treatment (for the cancer group).
  • You must be able to join through the local health/social security coverage requirement.
  • You must not have severe liver disease (Child-Pugh B or C cirrhosis).
  • You must be able to give consent in an appropriate language (no language barrier).
