Who can take part

  • You have pseudoexfoliation syndrome seen by an eye exam (flakes/exfoliation material in the front part of the eye).
  • Your eye doctor has decided you need treatment to lower eye pressure (even if you don’t yet have clear nerve or vision-field damage).
  • You have early cataracts but no major eye symptoms from them yet.
  • You are age 50 or older.
  • Your eye angle is not “closed” (your doctor can see an open angle on a special eye exam).
  • Your baseline eye pressure is 36 mmHg or lower.
