Who can take part

  • You’re 18 years or older.
  • You have invasive breast cancer that has been fully removed microscopically (no cancer left behind in tissue samples).
  • You had breast surgery with removal of lymph nodes in the armpit area (axillary clearance/dissection), either breast-conserving surgery or full mastectomy.
  • Your cancer is high-risk: stage III, or lymph nodes are positive (especially if you received chemotherapy before surgery).
  • You cannot have cancer spread to distant organs or involve certain other lymph node areas (supraclavicular/internal mammary nodes).
