Who can take part
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must start the study before 18 weeks of pregnancy
- Your blood test must show anti-Ro 52 or anti-Ro 60 antibodies at or above 1,000 (or you may qualify with any positive anti-Ro if you’ve had a previously affected child)
- You must be able to take oral medicine and follow the study treatment schedule (dexamethasone plus IVIG)
- You must be able to do fetal heart monitoring at home three times a day and recognize concerning results
- You must have a phone with texting/capabilities to receive study messages, and live within 6 hours driving of the pediatric cardiology site
