Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for lead implantation for sacral neuromodulation
  • Your bladder symptoms include overactive bladder (urgency, frequent urination, and/or waking at night to urinate)
  • You do not have a neurogenic bladder (bladder problems caused by nerve damage from conditions like spinal cord injury)
  • Your body mass index (BMI) is 40 or less
  • You do not have peripheral neuropathy (nerve problems in the arms/legs causing numbness or tingling)
