  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have pain that has lasted at least 3 months
  • You speak and understand Spanish well enough to join group discussions
  • You can follow the study steps and finish what the study asks you to do
  • You do not have cognitive impairment that would interfere with participating
  • You have not taken the Empowered Relief class before
