Study how COVID-19 affects blood vessel stiffness and aging

Covid19Arterial StiffnessEndothelial DysfunctionDiastolic Dysfunction

Part of Infections, Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This study looks at how having COVID-19 may affect your blood vessels over the following months. It may help doctors understand long-term “vascular aging” and who is most at risk, based on how sick you were during your COVID illness.

Blood Pressure, Artery Stiffness, and Metabolic Health Study

This study examines how blood pressure patterns over 24 hours relate to artery stiffness and metabolic health markers like blood sugar and triglycerides. Understanding these connections may help doctors better predict heart disease risk.

Artery aging risk markers study

This study looks at markers of artery aging in people already taking part in the Paris Prospective Study III. It may help understand how arteries change with age.

Tracking daily blood pressure patterns in people at high heart risk

This study measures how your blood pressure changes across the day in people at higher risk of heart and blood vessel disease. It may help researchers understand why blood pressure patterns vary, which could guide better prevention or care.

Childhood stress and blood vessel aging in young adults

This study looks at how childhood stress might affect blood vessels and aging in young adults. It tests if a certain protein (SIRT1) is linked to early blood vessel aging.

Arterial stiffness and blood vessel function in heart failure

This study looks at how stiff arteries are and how well blood vessels work in people with heart failure. It aims to understand these changes better to improve future care.

How artery stiffness changes with age in healthy volunteers

This study looks at how artery stiffness changes with age in healthy people. You will wear a special T-shirt that measures your pulse, and results may help doctors better understand blood vessel health.
