Who can take part

  • You are having a “simple” hysterectomy using laparoscopy (keyhole surgery)
  • If you still have periods (not menopausal), your pregnancy test is negative
  • You are over 18 years old
  • You agree and can understand the study in German
  • Your surgery is not because of prolapse (your prolapse is not the reason for surgery)
  • You do not have certain conditions that affect eligibility (like deep infiltrating endometriosis or prior radiation)
