Test MobiusHD device for certain heart failure patients

Heart Failure With Reduced Ejection Fraction

This trial studies whether the MobiusHD® implant can improve symptoms or function in people with heart failure who are still limited in everyday activity. You may be eligible if your heart failure tests show moderate heart weakness and you meet specific walking and lab criteria.

Who can take part

  • Be age 18 or older
  • Have heart failure that is moderate (NYHA Class II or III, or ambulatory Class IV)
  • Have a heart pumping measure (left ventricular ejection fraction) of 40% or less
  • Have an NT-proBNP blood test level of 400 or higher (shows heart strain)
  • Be on stable, best-available heart failure medicines for at least 4 weeks
  • Walk between 150 and 400 meters in a 6-minute hall walk test
