Who can take part
- You have inflammatory breast cancer diagnosed as stage III, with cancer in the lymph nodes allowed but no distant spread
- Your symptoms started quickly—within 6 months of diagnosis
- Your diagnosis must be confirmed by a biopsy showing invasive (not just in-situ) breast cancer
- You are 18 or older, and your day-to-day functioning is fairly okay (ECOG 0–2)
- You have not started any pre-surgery/pre-chemo treatment before you enroll in this study
