Who can take part
- You must be 18 years or older and able to sign consent in your local language.
- Your cancer must be a solid tumor confirmed by tests, with measurable spots on scans, and it must be unresectable (not removable by surgery).
- Your general health/strength must be good enough (performance status of 2 or less).
- You need to have recovered from side effects of prior treatment (especially nerve problems must be mild or better), and enough time must have passed since your last therapy.
- You must not have certain blood test or heart rhythm issues: liver enzymes and bilirubin must be below set limits, kidney function must be adequate, and QTc on an EKG must be under 470 ms.
- You must not have uncontrolled symptoms that need urgent relief (like immediate surgery or radiotherapy) or severe baseline nerve damage, and you must be able to communicate and follow study visits.
- If you are female, you must not be pregnant or breast-feeding and must not plan pregnancy during the study.
