Who can take part
- You have one kidney cyst that is labeled “Bosniak 3” on a CT or MRI scan
- The cyst is between 10 and 70 mm (about 1 to 7 cm) wide
- You’re age 50 or older, and you can reasonably care for yourself (ECOG score less than 2)
- You’re expected to live at least 5 years and can have both surgery and active surveillance
- You can speak/read the study language (Finnish or English) and will sign consent
- Your cyst has not already been getting worse from earlier scans (Bosniak 1–2F) and you don’t have signs of spread
