Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older and have uterine (endometrial) cancer or cervical cancer.
  • Your cancer has not spread to distant organs (non-metastatic).
  • After surgery, there is no visible remaining cancer based on imaging and your surgeon’s findings.
  • You plan to receive whole-pelvis radiation; it should not include chemo at the same time (chemo before or after is sometimes okay).
  • You are well enough for treatment (ECOG performance status 2 or less).
  • You have not had prior radiation to the pelvis and you do not have bowel conditions that commonly flare (like inflammatory bowel disease or bowel blockage history).
