Who can take part
- Your child must be under 24 months old (24 months or younger).
- A parent or legal guardian must sign the consent form.
- Your child must have health coverage under the country’s social security or universal medical coverage.
- The child must have acute purulent ear infection (ear infection with pus) or ear drainage (otorrhea), with or without bronchiolitis (breathing inflammation in babies).
- The child must not be older than 24 months, and the parent must not refuse participation.
- The child’s mother must not have received an RSV vaccine during pregnancy for this study to include them.
