ACT for Life to help people manage suicide risk

Who can take part

  • You are eligible to receive care through VHA (VA healthcare).
  • You are currently in the hospital because of suicide risk.
  • You are willing to be randomly assigned to a study group and take part in the study.
  • You can understand the study and answer questions about your rights and the study details.
  • You are able to complete study check-ins and participate in treatment as the study team and your clinician decide.
  • You are not taking part in another medication or treatment research study.
