Who can take part

  • You are age 18 to 75 when you sign consent
  • You have locally advanced urothelial bladder cancer (no spread to distant organs, and not too many lymph nodes)
  • You have not had any anti-cancer treatment systemically yet (no prior anti–PD-1/PD-L1/CTLA-4 antibodies or chemo; bladder-infusion chemo is allowed)
  • A scan shows at least one measurable tumor spot (CT lesion at least 10 mm)
  • Your health is strong enough for treatment: you must have good blood counts and key lab values, and you need kidney function that meets the study limits
  • You must be able to plan for radical cystectomy (bladder removal) and follow study visits, including providing tumor tissue samples
