Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older and have one replaced hip (hip arthroplasty) causing symptoms like pain.
- Your doctor decides you should get an MRI for your hip.
- You can sign and date a consent form to join the study.
- You do not have any metal hardware in your body (including a metal hip replacement on the other side).
- You can safely have an MRI (for example, you don’t have severe claustrophobia and don’t have other MRI-incompatible devices).
- You have not had hip revision surgery, you are not pregnant, and you haven’t had hip replacement surgery in the past year.
- They do not plan to give IV contrast during your MRI (if your care requires IV contrast, you can’t join).
