Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old, and if you’re over 70 you should be in generally stable health
  • You have had hepatitis B showing on blood tests for more than 6 months, or liver changes from hepatitis B seen on testing
  • You are currently taking (or plan to start) one of these: entecavir, tenofovir disoproxil, tenofovir alafenamide, or another listed tenofovir option
  • Or you are planning to take pegylated interferon (pegIFNα-2b), with or without prior hepatitis B treatment
  • You agree to join the study and sign informed consent
