Who can take part

  • You must be over 18 and able to sign written consent.
  • You must pass the MRI safety check (no unsafe metal or devices in your body).
  • If you are a patient: you must be under a clinical oncologist at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust and have radiotherapy planned to the area being scanned.
  • You must be able to give blood and/or urine samples during the treatment period (if needed by the study).
  • If you are a healthy volunteer: you must have no known or suspected major medical condition.
  • You must not be pregnant, and you must not have HIV or active hepatitis B or C.
