Who can take part

  • You are a man age 40 to 85
  • You have metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) and meet criteria for Ra-223 due to symptomatic bone metastases (at least two bone spots) and no spread to internal organs
  • You can sign the informed consent and have a life expectancy of more than 3 months
  • Your general function is good enough for study procedures (ECOG 0 to 2)
  • You can safely complete the PET/CT scan (no severe claustrophobia, you can stay still, you are alert, and your vital signs are stable)
  • Your kidney and liver tests are safe for the scan and related procedures (kidney filtering not too low; no contrast allergy; liver enzymes not more than 3 times normal)
