Reducing skin calcium deposits with pyrophosphate

Who can take part

  • You must meet the ACR/EULAR diagnosis criteria for systemic sclerosis (SSC).
  • You should not have severe upper gastrointestinal involvement (“upper misfestation”).
  • You must not have an overactive thyroid or underactive thyroid.
  • Your ECG must not show a prolonged QT interval (a heart rhythm timing issue).
  • You may be asked to provide recent test results (diagnosis criteria, ECG, and thyroid labs).
