Who can take part

  • You are an adult (18 years or older).
  • You are planning breast reconstruction using your own lower-abdominal tissue called a DIEP flap.
  • Your reconstruction is planned to be done either immediately during mastectomy or later after mastectomy.
  • You are not currently pregnant.
  • You do not have a known allergy to adhesive dressings (bandages that stick to the skin).
