Who can take part
- Be an adult age 18 to 45
- Have a healthy body weight (BMI 18.5 to 25)
- Not be pregnant, nursing, or have been pregnant in the last year
- Not take hormonal birth control or hormone-related contraception
- Avoid all supplements (including protein/biotin/creatine/herbal products) and prescription/OTC medicines for 3 months before starting (multivitamins/essential vitamins are the exception)
- Follow the study’s usual-food pattern rules (no dieting/weight loss, no vegan diet, limit tea/coffee/juice, avoid soda/energy drinks, fast food most days, and heavy alcohol)
