Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older
- You are not pregnant
- You have a solid abdominal mass on scan (ultrasound/CT/MRI) or you previously had an EUS needle biopsy for a solid pancreatic mass that did not give a clear diagnosis
- Your blood tests show platelets above 50,000 and INR (a blood clotting test) below 1.5
- You are able to consent for yourself and you have no recent blood-thinner/anti-platelet medicines (other than aspirin) in the last 7–10 days
- You do not have a cystic (fluid-filled) abdominal mass, and you have no heparin/porcine allergy or past heparin-induced low platelets (HIT)
