Who can take part
- You are 18 or older, and you can sign consent (with a study doctor explaining the plan).
- You have breast cancer that is either operable (can potentially be removed) or has spread (stage II–IV), and the tumor is “triple-negative.”
- Your cancer testing shows the tumor is hormone-receptor negative (very low ER/PR), HER2 negative, and is confirmed by lab/pathology results.
- You have not had any chemotherapy or other anti-cancer treatment for this breast cancer before (no prior systemic treatment for this same cancer).
- There is at least one breast tumor area that can be measured and safely biopsied (a spot with the longest size over 2 cm).
- Your health tests and organs are strong enough for treatment (blood counts, liver/kidney tests, and fasting blood sugar under 120 mg/dL), and your heart tracing (ECG) is acceptable.
- You can have contrast-enhanced MRI and you can take and keep oral pills (and you have no MRI-incompatible implants).
