Who can take part
- You’re 18 years or older
- You have breast cancer (or, for the first part of the study, you’re starting chemotherapy for it or have metastatic breast cancer)
- You are about to start a new taxane regimen at UF Health (paclitaxel or docetaxel, weekly or every 3 weeks depending on the dose schedule)
- Your cancer care must continue at UF Health for at least the next 3 months
- You can take part safely: no major digestive blockage, not pregnant or breastfeeding, and you can follow the study rules
- You must not be on other experimental (investigational) medicines
