Who can take part
- You must be over 18 years old.
- You have had surgery for a head and neck cancer that involved areas like the nasopharynx, sinuses, skull base, or brain.
- After surgery, your doctor plans postoperative radiation only, with at least 54 Gy (or equivalent proton dose).
- The surgery should aim to remove the tumor completely or leave only tiny cells behind (microscopic residue R1), not visible tumor (R2).
- You cannot have had radiation therapy before (except certain limited cases like cervix/prostate brachytherapy).
