Who can take part
- You are 18 to under 89 and were recently diagnosed with a head or neck cancer (such as tonsil, larynx, tongue, throat/oropharynx, or certain salivary gland cancers).
- Your cancer has not spread to distant parts of the body (no distant metastases).
- You will start standard radiation soon, and you can join before your first week of radiation.
- You must have a baseline whole-brain MRI or CT scan already available as part of usual care.
- You can do the testing in English (you report speaking English “well” or “very well,” and your preferred healthcare language is English).
- Your overall function is good enough for study testing (Karnofsky score at least 70 or similar ECOG level).
